M-Process stands for the successful optimisation and re-organisation of the core processes of Michelfelder’s division stainless steel technology.
Our aim is the continuous improvement regarding process efficiency in manufacturing, assembly and logistics; from order receipt to on schedule shipping of components as well as integrated system solutions. To enhance productivity in sheet metal processing, to standardise material and communication flow and to simultaneously reduce throughput times, all machines, production equipment and the entire workplace organisation including personnel responsibilites were completely rearranged on the basis of order control according to a flow structure. At the center of the new organizational structure is a central order management office which takes care of order-related coordination, communication and expediting and thus guarantees for a high adherence to delivery schedules.
